Day 1
Board a deluxe motorcoach and we’re off to 4 exciting days in magnificent Quebec City - a World Heritage City on the beautiful St. Lawrence River! We cross the Canadian border for 3 nights at the beautiful 4 star HOTEL PALACE ROYAL located just steps away from the gate of the Old City… boasting spacious guestrooms, restaurant, indoor gardens & pool. Welcome dinner marks our arrival.
Day 2
Enjoy a GUIDED TOUR of this vibrant city - highlights include the Plains of Abraham, Place D’Armes, Latin Quarter and more. Afternoon & evening at leisure to explore the wonders of this walled city any way you choose. Stroll through the local shops & galleries, visit Place Royale on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, visit a museum, dine outside at one of the city’s many bistros…
Day 3
This morning we tour the ALBERT GILLES COPPER ART STUDIO & MUSEUM. Witness how a passionate artisan and his family have been bringing embossed copper to life for 91 years. View exclusive pieces and architectural works erected around the world. Enjoy creating your own artwork to take home during our workshop followed by tea time. This afternoon we visit SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BEAUPRE SHRINE. For over 350 years, people have been gathering at this Shrine dedicated to Sainte Anne, the grandmother of Jesus. View the beauty of the artistic masterpieces including paintings, mosaics, stained-glass windows and the copper doors created by Albert Gilles. Farewell dinner tonight offers a true Quebec tradition at LE CHEMIN DU ROY SUGAR SHACK. Hear about the production of maple syrup, experience a traditional sugar shack meal while listening to folk music and enjoy maple taffy on snow.
