Day 1
We depart via deluxe motorcoach for our tour to Lancaster, PA - the heart of the Amish Country. 2 nights accommodations at the HOLIDAY INN LANCASTER located in Downtown Lancaster featuring spacious guestrooms, full service restaurant and bar. Family-style dinner tonight at PLAIN & FANCY RESTAURANT.
Day 2
This morning we hop aboard our AMISH BUGGY COVERED BRIDGE RIDE that will take us through a real covered bridge on a back country road. The buggy ride is over five miles long on peaceful, quiet Amish roads. Explore KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE with lunch on own before taking our reserved seats this afternoon at Sight & Sound Theatre for “NOAH”. With a catastrophic storm on its way, Noah is given a monumental task: build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood that will cover the entire earth. As Noah endeavors to live faithfully in the midst of an increasingly chaotic world, can he trust that God’s promises run deeper than the rising waters around him? Returning for one season only, this landmark production takes you on board one of the world’s best-known voyages as live animals fill the stage and aisles. Engage your senses through music, storytelling, and the amazing CHALK ARTISTRY of a former Old Order Mennonite woman, Elva Hurst, who offers insights into Plain culture with a story that comes to life and lights up before your eyes! Visit to the BIRD-IN-HAND FARMERS MARKET before heading home.
